Dr. Dick’s Chord Weaving Level 4

Chord Weaving Level 4 provides a comprehensive list of all possible chord changes for diatonic chords based on thirds, often used in Jazz.

Chord Weaving Level 4 adds more musicality by providing separate tables for all twelve keys (plus enharmonic keys), and changing the pattern from perfect fifths to cycles of fourths, perfect for jazz. The chords studied are all in the major scale built on thirds, beginning with basic triads:

Explore the table using similar techniques gleaned from Chord Weaving 3.

Switch among keys by using the tables for all keys, listed in order of the circle of fifths. Enharmonic keys (such as D# and Eb) have a second column to the right.

If some chords are unfamiliar, choose smaller sections of the table and add rows and columns as the new chords reveal themselves, as in Chord Weaving Level 0.
